Prison is a Wonderful Place

Prison is a wonderful place

People here from every creed and race Photo by Leon (The Lion of Zion) Andrew Swyka
Memories that time will not erase

When the court adjudicates your case
You could disappear without a trace

When they send you here it’s in disgrace
It’s a fact you’ll have to learn to face

Clientele so treacherous and base
Every night with them you’ll share a space

If you try to leave the dogs will chase
Every step you take they can retrace

A way of life not easy to embrace
Wasted years you never can replace

It’s all right if you can stand the pace
Prison is a wonderful place.
