- Tree Hill
- I think I’ll wander up to old Tree Hill
- to spend a few unhurried hours there
- and walk the trails until I get my fill
- of butterflies and scented woodland air
- Above the birds and squirrels make their nest
- turtles and frogs are seen upon the ground,
- and lizards too, but what I like the best
- are pigmy goats and hearing how they sound.
- I may be an urbane sophisticate
- with jacket, tie, and sharp crease in my pants.
- but walking through the countryside is great.
- It’s off to Tree Hill when I get the chance.
- Nearby, the city churns with industry,
- but here the voice of Nature calls to me
